Diggin' this '74 Dodge camper van

My Dad, who was a more than fair carpenter, built one that was awesome. They bought a "bare" long WB van like that one, and he bought a tent camper that was junk (roof leak.) They took it somewhere and had a bubble top installed, then got a bunch of good carpet out of the church. Had it cleaned and glued it to the new roof, and some of the walls and the floor. Installed appliances from the tent camper. He made really cool lightweight screens for the front doors that bent and snapped into the window grooves

He and Mom had a great time in it for awhile This was early eighties.
