Disco

Like or hate it Disco was a huge influence on music at the time. Me and the boys were hardcore rockers we would not accept nothing but led Zeppelin /BTO AC/DC / Van Halen /bad company etc but if you were smart you had a couple good disco tapes so when you were entertaining the ladies Ohio players Bee gees wild cherry ring a bell? Truth be told some of it was pretty darn good music.

Cake has a fairly large catalog of cool "alternative" music from the early 90's to the mid 2000's.

Here's another-

"She want's a car with a cupholder arm rest"
"She wants a car that will get her there"
"She's trading her mg for a white, Chrysler LeBaron"

How about these. Effed up my ankle when one of the heels suddenly snapped. Still paying for it today.

KISS BOOTS, my bil back in the day had all the Kiss paraphernalia. Even painted teeth on the platforms. All that stuff including records in in boxes at FIL’s place. My sister was the other end of the spectrum, her and her friends were Bay City Rollers freaks, plaid everything. Still pester her about it LMAO.

Play that funky music, white boy!

I will take Disco over that **** they played at the Superbowl anyday
I will say this......look up the lyrics to that song. I know it was horrible to listen to, BUT the song is all about anti establishment, anti pedophilia, and anti "bad things" so the actual song itself ain't bad, but the delivery and music sure was.

I love disco, because it made this necessary.

There was nothing necessary about Sid Vicious. Although that was my pen name in advanced lit in my junior year. I used to drive my lit teacher to drink. Quite literally. We found her bottle in her desk one morning before she got to class and she spent the rest of the day looking for it. She thought she had misplaced it. She ultimately had to go home that day. It was hilarious back then, but I kinda feel bad about it now. We were terrible.

I used to really like those guys

I remember one day I decided I wanted to get a sex pistols shirt
(This was before the interwebs shopping)

Look at all my local music stores and couldn't find one

Finally I said screw it, I'm going to England
And I did

Boy what an adventure that was, I was 16 I believe

Spend all evening out drinking and was able to take the last train back to the hotel (for all you English folks, it was the Jubilee line) I kinda sorta dozed, waiting on my stop but it never came

Finally a conductor showed up and told me I had to get off, this is the end of the line
So I explained, I can't get off here, my stop hasn't come by

He said whats your stop, so I told him

Then he said, where did you get on, and I told him that

He said, yeah, you got on going in the wrong direction

So I had no choice but to start booting it
I walked all nite (with one or two stops for a drink) through London and I made it back to the hotel just in time for breakfast

I think the next night I went out again and got my tattoo, that was fun, I couldn't tell you who was more waisted, me or the guy holding the pen

And all because of this awesome rendition of my way
