I had a small tube of specific grease for lobes, had it forever. Cant find it, blank stare when I asked the counter kid if he had any
Can I use a tiny dab of white grease in the meantime????

Ask the parts store for dielectric grease or silicon grease.
Nobody knows what ignition points are anymore.
Napa sells it under the name sil-glide. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054DWS1W/?tag=fabo03-20
You can get one of those small packets of disc brake lubricant they sell at the register at parts store. Any silicon type grease will work.

Very small amount on the lobes just a smear, a greater portion should be on the inside of the point's arm.

I use a small smear of high temp wheel bearing grease. Worked for me over 40 years.

Nothing special about the grease — anything that sticks will work well enough. White grease might be a little thin.
