Distributor Gasket for 1973 225ci Slant 6?

Had to pull my distributor to replace the vacuum advance. When I pulled it off, it had what looks to be a home made gasket. I checked the manual and I'm only seeing an o-ring. Is it supposed to have a gasket between the block and distributor?

No gasket, but should have the "O" ring in your picture, and also a larger "O" ring right up at the adjuster plate. Someone probably had a oil leak and didn't have the large "O" ring.

Ah, gotcha. So I need to get another o-ring. Thanks! Doing a search for what I was looking for came up with this.
