Distributor swapping, does it fit?

I have a 1972 dodge dart with a V8, and points type distributor. I also have a distributor from a 1979 dodge ram, with the 2 wire electronic type... Can I use this distributor in my dart?

Yes, but you'll need the ECU of some sort to power it. Ethier MP box(s) or a MSD or other type of system.
