Anyone done Spaz Stix aerosol or Alclad II with an airbrush? I have several extra bezels and have been looking into the DIY mirror chrome. I have an airbrush and it sounds like both types of DIY are mainly "plastic prep" and "good gloss black base coat" processes. Just wondering if anyone has tried one, the other, or both. After the Mirror chrome edges I would go over the middle with the argent and the black accent stripe ends up being just the base coat of gloss back showing through.

I used spaz stic paint and few others worked really well definitely DONT clear coat turns chrome like a gray color for me. But when I tried air brushing I was getting a line due to coverage, when I did it out of a spray can I covered more are with one spray and was not getting THE line. I try a look for pictures

Yup.

I tried ALSA Killer Chrome years ago and was satisfied with what I got for my coins but not willing to settle for it. Sent my bezel out for vacuum metalized. There is much more available today. Youtube videos offer comparisons of multiple brands. There may be more available today than shown in the videos too. Good luck

The Killer Chrome looked great but nearly as expensive as sending it off for the real stuff. I am going to try it on one of my extra bezels.
