The wheels on my Demon in '71 were black from the factory . Not sure about other combinations that the factory did.

So your car must have been made after May 1st, or else it would have had body colored wheels if it was made before May 1st (at least thats what I've read in this forum, among other conflicting stories of when body-colored wheels ended on A bodies)...

Well, think that picture was taken the day I drove it home from Davenport Dodge, I worked there. If you blow the picture up the date on the picture says Apr 71.

These hubcaps came on my used 1971 Demon but the internet says that these are for 1972 Demons (and other '72 cars). So might these have come on '71 Demons late in 1971? Or maybe a previous owner put them on...

My 1973 Charger SE had those wheel covers. They were replaced shortly after the purchase with mags. I still have them in my stash.
