Do I need idler pulley?

Hey guys, so I’m deleting the AC out of my 65 Dodge Dart and was wondering how the belt set up would be and if I need the idler pulley for the water pump still?

Nope. One belt to run the Alt and WP from the crank. With the Alt being the tensioner..

I’m not going to toss them they need to be reconditioned I’ll put them on in a later time car just needs to get moved asap!

You only need an idler pulley if you are going to let your engine idle....
