What you guys think of it? Honestly i love it! part of me wants to take the drive down and trade my miata for it. Are early colts known for being POS' or anything?

They were actually pretty good cars in their day. There is a grey wagon here where I live and I would LOVE to have it!

I can only assume a car like that would get pretty decent mileage for its day as well? lighter than a /6 dart (2800lbs roughly) and with a Mitsubishi 4banger

Current Colt owner here. Neat little cars, and you can small block them and put narrowed 8 3/4's in them and have a killer little beast!!! Geof

Who made those things for Dodge? Was it Mitsubishi? Most of em are rusted to the ground. I found 6 or 8 Plymouth Arrows sitting around a few years ago....all so rusty you could throw a cat thu them! Dude won't even talk about selling the cars or parts.:banghead:

Mitsubishi

They might rust but they make great race cars!

Technically, doesn't the rust make them lighter?

Here's a fun one:

I've got three, a 74 GT a 75 and a 76. I wanted to build the 74 GT for my wife but she gave up hope of me ever getting it done. I'd trade all three for a 68 Dart project.

Its been done, i saw it awhile back. IMO for a car like that, a turbo 4 w/ a stick would be the way to go.

Ya know, it's kinda funny. Back when these cars were on the road when I was a kid I always thought they were lame compared to the other cars on the road.
Now, they look cool and old school. Same is true for the older Datsuns and Celicas. Early and mid 70's econo sport cars really stand out now. I saw a really clean Plymouth Arrow at Carlisle a couple years ago. I'd drive it!
Anyone else feel this way?

Saw them run as P/S or Altereds back in the day. while not especially successful, they were cool. I'd happily trade my Altered, turn-key for a roller "built" one. I have a nice Hemi that needs a "home"...
