Dodge Demon rocker chrome

I have a 72 Demon that I am currently restoring and when I was tearing the car down I noticed that it had pegs on the rockers for chrome.

I asked around and looked on the internet I have not be able to confirm one Demon with rocker chrome. I noticed that Darts have rocker chrome and some dusters as well.

Does anyone have a Demon with rocker chrome? If you have a Demon with rocker chrome can you post a pic so I can see what I am looking for? If not can anyone explain why I have pegs for the chrome?

Craig, as 7demon2 said, rocker mouldings were definitely available on your car. Now the tough part is to locate some. Good luck.

I saw the clips somewhere they look like an "H" Maybe it was totally auto or Legendary... I'll look around again

here is a pic as promised. it is the only one i have seen in person. i have seen some in pics but only about 2 or 3. it is going to be almost impossible to find i would think. hope it helps....

Good luck I've been hunting for these also.The best I could find is that Brad's NOS has them for a Dart (too long) or using some for 1st gen Camaro again too long.The clips are all over the place I think I saw them on ebay.I've thought about getting some and cutting them down and welding back together but they are anodized then I would either have to pay way to much to reanodized or chromed. They are about 3/4" wide by however long?
