Agreed. I'm looking at the hood of Dad's 69 right now, and that's the one it has. Of course, all the black paint is worn of it. ;)

I think the same emblem is found on the grill of 68-9 coronets might widen the search. I have one but finding it is another story.

Yep. Thats the one 65val. It will have three mounting pegs on the back. I think the middle peg is a tiny bit higher than the outsides.

Have 4 of them. All re-painted and cleaned-up best as possible, Part # 2964442 $35 each. All pegs there on all of them.

Actually, 70dartmike, I believe thats the correct one. The middle pin is higher than the outside ones.

To RR70. I never heard back yet if you could confirm that the middle pin is higher than the outside two. Your pic looks like it is lower. If that's the case that is not the one I need for the hood. If you have one that the middle pin is higher and the outsides measure 5 5/16" between them, that's the one I need and I'll buy it. Just confirm that please and we are good to go. Thank you.
