I prefer a 15" wheel on my classic cars...but I have always loved the look of the 2001-2004 Mustang "Bullitt" style wheels. These are 17" but because of this, they provide many more tire options and I'm 99% sure they have the 4.5" bolt circle like many Mopars.

The later 2005+ Bullitt style wheels have a shallower offset and don't look as classic.

What other Mustang wheels might work? How do these look on A-Bodies? What size tire would you run for maximum traction?

that thread has the answers. I mocked up a set two nights ago. Tires and spacers are on order. If you go this route I found ebay vendors with the best prices and DTD has a $100 rebate on tires right now.
