Does oil pan needs baffles?

I have a 408 stroker in my Duster, running deep into the 12's. My buddy, a BB Ford guy, is concerned that my oil pan does not have baffles, and the pickup will get uncovered on hard launches, resulting in a drop in oil pressure. I bought the 6 quart from Hughes http://www.hughesengines.com/partDetail.asp?partID=10238&eTypeID=1
I talked to Hughes, and they said it was a non-issue, but I wanted to check with the real experts here a A-bodies before I rest at ease.

Agreed. If you step up at a later date, the baffles couldn't hurt. AKA winter project.
