Saw these heads on local CL . But something just looks off on these pushrod holes like they were drilled again but off center. Any cause for alarm? Thanks for your input in advance.

Probably opened them up because the pushrods were rubbing. That is sometimes necessary when using a roller cam. Just make sure they don't break into the ports (which is highly unlikely).

I'll be doing that very thing to my old J heads soon. Necessary if you use these early heads on an LA roller block. The heads originally meant for these blocks had larger holes. You cannot just bore the older heads to the same large size, you may hit stuff.....like intake ports, LOL
