I've been looking for a used mopar performance air cleaner. Summit sells them for $77.95 or on ebag for $87.90 shipped. Found this one on ebag the seller (a mopar parts specialist in fla) has 100% positive feedback. I have never been able to find a k&n filter that fits these. This seller wants $86. shipped for this set up. He tells me that the element fits the base. Doesn't look like it to me. Sent them an email asking about the diameter and the paint job, kinda got a run around answer about which carbs it fits. Sent another email and was told they get back to me on the diameter and yes it was painted. So the question is does the element look like it would fit the base to you?...Have you seen a k&n that fits these air cleaners. I'm not feeling the trust.

Looks off... I've never seen an all black MP filter like that either, the fins and words are usually aluminum

Who knows , maybe the lip on the base plate will sit in the groove on the filter, sort of / almost / close enough, fit.

That's way too much IMO, I have seen them listed here for alot cheaper used. Plus, the one in the pictures, the lid has been repainted, the logo and fins should be raw brushed aluminum. I would keep looking, maybe post want ad on the site?

My thoughts exactly $1.90 less than new from summit. As far as the top I'm going to refinish it to match my vc's and intake/valley pan anyway.

They usually take @13" air filter. K&N is probably a 14".

Even my air grabber, I think that's the correct name, takes the smaller filter. Comes on a 1971 340 Duster, no snorkel.

Summit says the filter is 12 3/4". Hope I got the right one!

This is not my car. I think the idea was, buy the filter from Mopar.

The 13" K&N Air Filter is part# E-1530

I have this air cleaner on my dart with a K&N filter and yes the letters and fins are raw not painted. Walk away from this deal!
