Dog Dish Confusion

Hello all! I really want a set of dog dish hub caps and started looking at them then I saw people put sizes like 10" and 8 3/4". I'm confused. I have 14" small bolt pattern wheels. What should I be looking for?

10"is the dish diameter. 8 3/4" is an axle.

the 10" caps fit 67 and earlier steel wheels. in 68 , they went to a 9" cap and a steel wheel . just measure across the the hub face cap ridges, the majority of what you will find will be for the 9 " caps. every repopped steel wheel ive seen is for 68 and up . you will need to measure your wheels, as they could be for either a 9 and 10 inch cap

So is it safe to say that if I have a 1972 dart the 9" would most likely be what I need?

yes, as long as nobody put 67 steel wheels on it. just measure them.
