MONC baby!!!
have been on the site for a couple months now, but don't think I posted here yet... GF and I are from Jefferson, OR, and have a '76 Valiant 2dr HT, 318/904/8.25... she bought it in '03 for 300 bucks, tuned it up and put tires/wheels on it (yeah... the tire shop guy sold her Chevy-style ralleys...:violent1, and drove it a few years before selling during a divorce... last Dec., the guy she sold it to texted her and was going to Craigslist it, and she swooped it up again...
For the last three years it has sat outside, on flats, and had leaky windshield wiper posts, so carpet and such were trashed... only surface rust on floorboards though, so in the process of cleaning it up and replacing needed items. Got ahold of my old-school AR 5-slot wheels, and just bought new rubber for it, 245/60/15 rear and 235/60/15 front tires... 318 had a dead hole, along with some other issues, so out it came, and in went my '76 Trailduster-sourced 4bbl 360, along with a B&M flexplate and car oil pan and pickup... gas filler cap had a cracked gasket, allowing water into the tank, pulled it and found a lot of rust/debris and severly corroded sending unit... just got new tank/sender from Auto City Classics, and am anxious to get 'er installed! Just a few more items and she'll be road-ready!:burnout:
