Door and side panels

I have a 63 dart convertible, considering making my own panels and hoping someone can tell me what material to use for the panel backing… thanks in advance

Just use thick fiber board from Lowes about 8th in!

1/8" White board works great. Putting the white side on the inside acts as another moisture barrier.
