door/fender alignment

Hello..I am in the process of aligning door / fender even with the cowl,,,door will not raise anymore,,,cowl is like 3/16 higher than door,,,I have a fix in mind,,but thought someone may have a better idea in solving this problem

This is a problem area on "A" bodies. The only solution is better body work.

yes...I was thinking of building up edge of fender/door with weld....dont know about taking material from cowl..thanks for the responce

I have rolled the leading edge of the door up a little...
