Door glass won't roll down....

Hey everyone,
Got a 72 scamp, when I try to roll the windows down both sides will only go down about 1/4 of the way then the crank gets really tight. Feels like it is gonna break so I don't force it. Any fix for this?

Take the door panel off and look at the regulator. Chances are that the scissor arms are gunked up real bad or have corrosion. Clean them up and lube them with white lithium grease.
 
Question... Does the handle wiggle about like it loose ?
 
rocky nice visual. yes be very careful with your glass.

loosen the rear guide, clean out any rust or debris that might be in the
track / guides.
on the front edge of the glass check the
plastic felts guides-- they could be so bad that they are wedging the glass.

take your time & inspect closely--- a lot of people can assist, Lawrence
 
Thanks everyone...I do appreciate the advice. No the handle does not move or jiggle. It just gets very tight and seems like it is going to break if I force it.
