Door Handles

Hi,
I'm getting my 66 Cuda ready to be painted. What's the best way to remove door handles?? Do you need to remove the glass in the door? If so, how tough is it to do? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all Mopar lovers.

remove the interior door panels. Roll the all the way up. 2 or 3 bolts attach handle to door.

if its anything like my duster, I'd rather go to the dentist for a root canal. doable, but a real pain in the ***.

The 66 & earlier are easier than the later ones. Redfish has the receipe. The 66 handle pushes on a plate to open the door, so when you put the glass up, you can still get in from the outside (with a punch or screwdriver).

The later models pull on a rod. They are, indeed, a PITA to work on.
