Door hinge back up plate removal

Any one know how these come out? Tried prying on them a little but stoped and thought I would ask what is holding them in before I jacked some thing up.

On the outside of the door post..... there are spot weld's through the door
post. You'll have to use a spot weld cutter on them.

Thats what I was afraid of. O boy more spot weld cutting!!!! I will check it out thanks.


O another thing I was going to ask is how to get the hood hinge posts out?

Why do you need to remove them?

Going to replace them with aluminum for the plates and running a lift off hood so don't need the hinge posts.

Just going to cut out the posts with a plasma.
