Have a 71 Demon that has a small rust hole on the lower jamb, right above the outer rocker panel. Anyone ever replaced the door jamb pillar? How hard was it to do?

It was no fun, I can tell you that. My car was hit there, in the middle, lightly, but still bent up the pillar. In hindsight, I would have pulled it and worked it out. The inner panel, where the rear interior panel goes, moves in and out a lot without the jamb. I believe my particular Demon had issues there. You might have an easier time on a car that was not banged in that spot.

Cut out the rust spot first, just around the bad spot. You can always cut more, cause it's more time consuming to put it back and have it perfect if you take out alot. The factory metal in your car is the best, vs the aftermarket.
