I'm doing the final adjustment of my doors before paint and noticed that I wasn't getting a consistent closing position....sometimes the door is in too far and sometimes out too far. Looking at the striker I noticed the finger inside the latch does move a bit in when in the closed position. It does this on both sides. Is this normal? I don't have seals installed so I'm wondering if the seal is supposed to push it out a bit.

The seal will put outward pressure on the door
If the door fits right pushed out your gold
