Door Striker Adjustment

Door striker adjustment seems to have bottomed out but I still need it to adjust downward another 1/8" or so. Any suggestions?

Unscrew the strike and be sure the captive nut can move freely.
If it is truly bottoming out is there any chance that the strike piller has been altered. Or a quarter skinned or replaced?
Or the door skinned?

If you can't adjust the striker any longer, then check your door hinges are probably worn out.
