Doug's header question on a 72 Dart!!!

Fabo, I'm in need of some help. I'm going to order some Doug's 453's for my 72 Dart. My question is, do I need to run a 90 degree oil adapter? I don't want to buy one if it's not needed.
The car will be running a 340/904 cheetah floor shift. Any and all help is always greatly appreciated thanks in advance!!

If you want to run anything other than the short filter, yes, you need the 90* adapter.

a Fram PH16 is a pretty short filter...or whatever it cross references to your favorite brand is..
