I was attempting to put together a video for my wife and I anniversary. There are a few you tube videos I was hoping to get for a DVD. Anyone know how to do this? not even sure if its legal but if you can help me would be appreciated.

You have to have a program that downloads them There are free ones out there, search google.

I found that Internet explorer is a little tough to deal with for downloading video's. Firefox however works flawlessly with the video download program added to it. www.firefox.com for the newest Firefox web browser, and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flash-video-downloader/ for the video downloader. Install Firefox first and then the downloader. There is also a codec package for windows media player that allows Media player to play just about any video file type out there automatically. It's is called K-Lite full codec pack and can be gotten from here [ame="http://download.cnet.com/K-Lite-Codec-Pack-Full/3000-13632_4-64246.html"]K-Lite Codec Pack Full - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com[/ame] Basically, it just adds a crapload of abilities to the player. Just install this and go along with the default installation and settings, and Win Media Player will play darn near every video file you will find out there.(even M4P Apple files) Once the downloader is installed in Firefox you will see a blue arrow up by the address bar. Whenever you click on a video to play that arrow will higlight darker blue, and this means you can click the arrow and downoad the video to your computer. Feel free to contact me about this if you would like as I do this type of stuff all the time and am pretty familiar with it.

This question relates to my phone (Samsung Note 3) how do you copy a playable youtube vid ( ya know the one with the arrow in the center that you simply click to play) I have been unable to do that and post in this forum or send in a message. Whenever I try to copy a vid all I get is a link to the vid. I do not have a youtube account and don't know if that is the reason. I have never had a problem viewing one.

Trailbeast^^^ I use Firefox and an add on called video download helper.

The add on I use is about the same thing, and it works flawlessly for every video I have ever tried to download with it. The real trick is to add the codec pack so WM player will play everything without having to add a bunch of stupid little players for the different file types.

I have never seen, or heard of a program "app" that does this with a phone.
Posting the link may be the only way for a phone, but at least the F*BO sites imbed the video if the link is compatible.
If a person has a Google account they have to be carefull about removing the "s" (https://whatever when a link is posted or it may not embed in the page.
