Dream Cars Weekend, a car enthusiast’s DREAM vacation, will be the LARGEST CAR EVENT ever at the Walt Disney World® Resort during Labor Day weekend. Special guests include racing legends Don Garlits and Geoff Bodine. Plus jet dragster Elaine Larsen and the world renowned artist Laurence Gartel with his famous “Art Cars”. Automotive exhibitors will be inside the "Dreambuilders Marketplace" exhibition hall. Collector and specialty cars of all generations will be parked among the palms and southwestern haciendas. Themed nightly dinner parties with live entertainment, dyno, NASCAR simulator, micro racing, model car show, antique race car display plus much more.

Spectators FREE. $75 car show & party registration includes event shirt and canvas goody bag, a chance to win a Disney Cruise Line® giveaway and one Hawaiian Luau dinner party ticket. $35 show only registration includes an event shirt. Open to all makes, models and years. A special Mopar section has been designated.

Sounds like a fun event!! Too far away for me but maybe some other members can make it and meet "Big Daddy"
 
So they think owners will drive their non a/c classics toward hot humid and/or hurricane that weekend ? Maybe that's how they are controlling the turn out. LOL
If it was held between mid Oct. and mid Nov. they might run out of rooms.
 
most of us in Florida are use to the heat or have A/C in our classics
my 71 wagon has cold factory a/c and i rarely use it.
two shows the same weekend one at the hotel and the Ford/ Mustang at
Disney speedway
 
Unfortunately I did not pick the date but there are 5 pools and things in the AC exhibition hall to see. Yesterday at our Sanford Hooters show, we had 130 cars from 11am-2pm. The heat will not keep the car crazy people at home. Rain will but not the heat nor the cold.
