Did all 1970 Dodge Dart Swingers come from the factory with drip rail moldings or were they an optional item?
I ask because the 1970 Swinger 340 I just purchased doesn't have them. The broadcast sheet is missing in action so I have no real way of knowing unless there's a way to tell by the fendertag.I doubt it. Dusters didn't. It depended on the trim level!!
Does it have wheelwell trim?I ask because the 1970 Swinger 340 I just purchased doesn't have them. The broadcast sheet is missing in action so I have no real way of knowing unless there's a way to tell by the fendertag.

Here's how you can tell if they were on the car from the factory.
At the very top of the A Pillar Drip rail, there is a triangular shaped gap where it meets the roof rail.
If the gap is visible, it had trim. If the gap is filled with a piece of crimped steel, it never had any
