I need a good answer before I press on with what I want to do. I have my 65 Barracuda on my rotisserie. I want to remove the driver's side front inner fender well sheet metal. Can this be done with out any distortion to the car body? My rotisserie is attached to the front and rear sub frame.

That connects the firewall, rail and core support. I would think it would be better to replace that when the car is sitting on it's wheels.

Thanks for the reply, I’m trying gain better access to the top of the rail. The inner fender panel could stand to be replaced also. Unless I can find a new rail, I’ll have to repair the one I have. The bottom of the rail is in useable condition, but the top of the rail is in bad shape. I’ll have to come up with a different approach.
