Went on a road trip to pick up some parts today. On the way home we came upon the aftermath of a storm. Traffic was backed up for miles. Must have dumped 6" of dime sized hail really fast. Only one semi was spun around that we saw but it was amazingly deep. Some of the bikes on the road had a slight delay added to their trip!

That near calgary? I heard they were gunna get it bad today.

Gotta love that alberta weather. 20+ celsius, still manages to make it look like the middle of winter.

Yup, Alderside! All I wanted was to get to the A&W for a burger and once it was in sight it took a half hour!

Holy crappleshit, George!
I bet it was gone in an hour or so........

HAIL YEA!! That's a **** ton of hail. The guys off their bikes look like their on a frozen lake ice fishing LOL

Closed the highway north of town when I was at the SO. Deputies said the road was washed out but it was actually just the way the hail piled up and washed away.... 4 feet of it!
