Drum brake size change

A lot of this I used to know like the back of my hand back in the 80's when my daily driver WAS my project car. I could practically recite part numbers.
Years away from the hobby have wiped those brain cells clean.
 
I don't have a lot of part swapping experience. It sounds to me, if you've got the one axle there, that worked with the 10x 2.5, at least the axle flange back spacing mystery should be solved. I would make an educated guess on a 70 and up B body 10x 2.5 drum , get one and test fit it.
 
I wound up with 2 drums. The only difference is the NAPA drum is clearly a 2 piece with a huge balancing weight. Well I think it's a balancing weight lol.
The other drum ( Oreillys) is one piece with more machined surface. Im inclined to go with the O'Reilly's at a glance assuming it's been balanced?
