Drums very loose on screw in studs

Hey guys. I got my Dana 60 installed and used Moser axles which came with 3" long 1/2" diameter screw in studs. When I slip the brake drums over them it registers fine on the center hub but I can rotate the drum and it clunks against the studs. It looks as if the holes in the drums are 9/16". I guess the factory studs are shouldered for this reason.

Any suggestions?

As I remember I had the same issue. I just cut up some short pieces of thin well steel tubing to take up the slop and yes that's why the standard studs are shouldered.

Mine are loose also,but once the wheels are tight they don,t move.I,ve yet to see wear marks.This is on my race car,running high 10,s.:burnout:
