I always wanted to go to that since it’s usually just a few hours from me, but the cost aside I can’t bring myself to go somewhere that’s 100 degrees and wind blown.
IMO it’s a pretty shitty time of the year to be in Tuscon.

Looks fun with that aside.

I gave up after trying for 5 years. Something always stopped me be it health,family,covid,parts etc.
Built my car specifically just for it too.

Yeah, had it all set up with linelock, driveshaft loop, slicks etc. I swapped out the 4.10's for 2.76 .Made a few changes,full exhaust and installed A/C. Just a streeter now. Still a fun car.

I went. Had a great time. It was in the low 90's and dry as a bone. Breeze all day made it not too uncomfortable.
Maybe try again next year.

This was the first time I’ve missed it, been every other year and coincidentally the only year that’s had great weather. The first year it was freezing cold and got rained out. Still fun. Usually it’s great weather this time of year in Tucson, warm during the day and cooler at night.
