Hello All,
Got remanafactured calipers and in each hardware package are two rubber bands.
Dumb *** question, (and yes i feel stupid)
What are they for and or where do you install them? (please be nice LOL)
See attached picture.
Thanks in advance
Happy Mopar :)

They wrap around the caliper bracket where the caliper sets on. They lay in the corners and they act as anti rattle rubbers. Marked O-ring in photo

Hello Oldmanmopar,

There were none on the spindle caliper adapter when I removed the brakes last year and now that I am starting to install the parts i was kinda lost.
As always the FABO community comes to the rescue.
Thanks for adding the illustration also.
Happy Mopar :)

The reason that you didn't find them when you did the dis assembly, those rubber rings never did a damm bit of good anyway.
Just throw them away.
They won't last a thousand miles anyway, in the real world of driving.
I have never seen a car with them, in all the decades that i have been around these things.
