I am replacing my 65 273 heads with a set of 302 castings. i know the intake manifold bolts are different, but i dont know what size they are.:banghead:

And the angle of the intake bolts is different on the early 273 heads. If you are planning on using your current 273 intake, it won't fit unless you modify the bolt holes.

I think oldkimmer meant 3/8"D, and ~45 deg from vertical. On your 65 heads, they are 7/16"D and ~16 deg from vertical. Any 66+ LA intake (before Magnums) would fit your new heads, and those are much more common and cheaper than the 64-65 intakes. Get a dual plane for a driver. A high-rise single plane intake is only for high rpm screaming at the race track.
............I thought he was asking for the bolt size and legnth for the intake bolts.......i assumed he will be changing to a 66 up intake manifold......kim....

I am using a LD4B intake manifold. no funky angled heads or intakes
