the duster looks like a cheapo to me, a paint job and a set of wheels can make anything look better its really up to you but i think ou are making a real mistake if you swap how many cudas you see setting around in as good a shape as yours seems to me like you want to trade a 20k car for a 3500-5000$ car

she didnt trade already .. the only thing that i dont like is that for sure the guys wants to comes see the cuda but , hes not excited to trade the duster for a a e-bodie cuda , anyway if it happens ok .. but still , i know perfectly that its a late model duster but believe me here in quebec ( canada ) theres is nothing left , even a chevy malibu 85 is BIG !! so i dont want to break my head and go to alberta or toronto and i think that if its trade for trade its gonna be good ,

remember the cuda is a little bit less nicer that in the pictures cause its already 3 years ago and the cuda was sitting outside so its maybe a 7 or 8 000 $ car right now , the guys is asking 12 000 $ for the duster and for 10k cash he would sell it so im not loosing and hes not too .

hes supposed to comme see the cuda this weekend .

Of course if you havent the money to restore that Cuda you could be living in a cardboard box but with a really cool Cuda parked outside next to it. Drop the Cuda junk and get the A body if you can work it out

why spend 5-6 k to fix the cuda a little bit and sell it 10 - 12 000 $ when i could leave it like that and have 7-8 000$ or trade it for a decent mopar daily driver ... im not bashing the 85 malibus but seriously where i live its verry rare to see muscle cars everyday , mopars = even rarer ... 80% of the muscle market here are fords 5.0 and chevys , so like i said in tenesse or carolina of every other state , a duster is verry common maybe but not around here believe me !we just see mustangs on the street !! tires of it truly .

Just cuz he wants 12k for his duster doesnt make it a deal at 10k. The duster started as a/6 car! There is one on this forum right now for $1900 rust free and pretty much drivable and I belive its a 318 car. My .02, oh no wait i think its .08 now

if the duster is in need,,,and not close to perfect,,not rust free ,,bondo needing repair,,ide pass on it,, doent sound as good as it started ouit to be,,,,you could find a better car to trade your cuda for im sure if you look around,,,,it all depends how long you want to wait,,

FWIW,
I'd stay w/ the Cuda. But, mybe consider selling the Cuda, you should get
good money for that, take part of it & find a good Duster. Then pocket the remaining few grand.

It's a nice Duster, but I dunno if they really have the value that other MoPars seem to have.

the cuda was really messed up , a big bodyjob is necessary .. but seriously when the duster was arrived my girlfriend was so happy that the tears in her eyes where gone !!! she loved her cuda but i costed too much to fix it up ! i mean for our budget ! but still will always be a verry nice project , i think that she will be verry happy with her new car this summer !!
regrets ?? not at all ! the car s paint job is stunning

my friend will maybe sell me a 360 c.i., engine with 2.02 / 1.60 ported heads , bit modified with approx : 320-330 hp combo for 1 k maybe it will fit this duster s engine bay easily !!! will be nice to do a 360 clone .

do you have more than 25- 30 k to restore the cuda ?? we didnt .. im 24 and shes 20 , she paid 9 500 $ cash the cuda when she was 17 yrs old her step father wo was a body man and a professional welder died , do you really think i was capable to pay a restoration company to fix it ?? read before posting comments like that ...

to love a car is a thing , to not have the money is another thing .. she still as now a beautiful mopar not a 5.0 stang or somthing .
