i can buy a brand new one that includes the housing,socket and harness and new lens ,i dont even need the harness,just the socket. sorry but $30 for a 50 year old bulb socket seems really high

OEM cleab used parts are so much better quality then the Chinese junk found at vendors. Most of the time they break when installing them especially the sockets. The metal is so much thinner . Don't leave the door open to long or when you go to replce the bulb it will push through the socket holder.
