Duster rear quarter patch fit on 68 Valiant?

I was talking to a fellow mopar guy today and he mentioned that 70ish duster quarter panel patch behind the rear wheel will match my 1968 Valiant. It sounds possible but figured I would ask the guru's and see if there is any other truth to this nice rumor. Cause me and other Valiant owners know that sheet metal is hard to find for our cars. Any info is appreciated.

i dont think so i thing you will need 67-69 dart lower quarters

i dont think either are the same. at least from looking at them. My 68 valiant has sort of a squared off wheel well. neither of those cars do they kind of slant in the back and come down straight in the front. I have the same exact problem.

How bad is your quarter? Is it like mine in pic. Or is it on the bottom. If it's on the bottom and not on the lip, you may be able to get away with it.

Dragon Mopar: I got the same situation on mine; rust on lower quarters, my wheel wells are decent. I've been looking at it for 2 years and wondering what to do. I dont want to spend the money on Dart patches for them to come out so-so. Mine is just a driver. I think somehow fabricating them would be the way to go. I'm outside of Boston in case you ever get up here.

Hey Sussmad,
Im in warwick. I have the same spot. The driver side is definitely worse than the driver. Ill be putting the new engine in on sunday. Hopefully it will be back on the road before the end of the month. Im always down to drive my car. Any good car shows or cruise nights up your way?

A couple years ago I bought some quarters from, of all places, old JC Whitney. Believe me there not much but they do have about the right shape. They were for a 69 Valiant.
