I believe so, but you have to watch year to year changes. What do you have for a shop manual/ diagram?
 
i think i might have got it figured out though. some of the wire colors are different but lead to the right places so i am tracing the wires and labeling them. when i bought the car the wiring looked like a damn rats nest. whoever wired it sucked. i bought a used wire harness from a member here and am just getting things in line. im sure once i put the motor in and start plugging everything up, ill have a lot more questions.
 
There ARE differences in the 72 manual and the 73/ later cars. Be careful.
