Hi everyone, lots of people on here might remember me. I was a very impatient kid who never had the time to look things up for myself because I knew someone like ou812, crackedback, 70aarcuda etc would chime in with the perfect response. Each of them had their own vibe about them with how they got their message across, it was who I became in a sense when building the car because their info meant the most.

I return again to finish my build, the same one I started in 2006. This time I went undercover with the Germs (air cooled) to see how they like to get down on the black top.. let’s just say slingshot engaged..

I hope that with the help of everyone on this, hopefully mostly productive conversations lol, yeah i lol’d on that one.. that you all would help me build the possible car. Mopar car, mopar heart. No ls, no import engine, stick shift and fast as ****.

but first I want to not only apologize to anyone I may have annoyed when younger, but thank them and everyone else for everything. My dad is a great man and knew a lot, but I was so keen on doing it my own that I barely bothered asking for help, so on this build I will be asking him for help more often. He’s doing fine, just getting older in age and if it wasn’t for him and his 68 road runner 3/4 cam and 383 4 barrel holley stories, there would be no mopar, and I’m just glad there was

So hello, if you have questions feel free to ask and civil. Also may I ask what you do for a profession or did that way I can know who is who please

How about… let’s see the build

Sure

Nice start. Glad to have someone finally beat me on time it takes to complete a project. I started mine in 2013.
I learned not to rush it, rome wasn’t supposedly built in a day. The social norm is to rush it unless you have money and or time.. fortunately I slowed down a bit to grab what information was needed to build it with respect

I'm not a professional mechanic but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night!!!!!!

Unfortunately our good friend, 70aarcuda (Tony) is no longer with us. He passed away a few days ago. Welcome back though. We look forward to your progress.

Awe man, his posts here and moparts are information that will help any person building a good straight line car. My condolences to his family, thank you
