Duster's next.....

-
It may not be in the plans, but I've wanted to see you put the dual four Offy intake that you had on the 318 Duster onto this car to see the back to back ET difference. Maybe test a 3.91-4.56 gear after that if you are willing to trailer the car to the track just for "science and stuff..."
dual quads may not have offered anything against the 750 dp/RPM (not air gap)

I think he already put a set of speedmasters on that one. 238@.050 solid flat tappet with matching springs, 1.6:1 rockers, and converter would be large step to the low 12s.

Yes, i did a test of "what if" you dropped a set of 700 dollar black friday SM heads on a stock 360... dropped 2.5 tenths over the stock smog 360 heads

Whatcha got, newer 5.9?
yeah, that too... lol Just about every engine I have laying around would be an upgrade over what's in it. I ran 12.8's just by sheer tuning the engine AND the car. Right now it's a 100 % factory stock converter and 904, and 3.23 open. Like i say, shouldn't be hard to drop it into the 7's in the 1/8 and that's really where I want it to be. That's the next step

Well, why the secret, what engine combo are you starting with cam, heads, ya know where's the beef.
Well, 100% truthful the only thing I've 100% settled on is my gears. The rest I'll change but haven't written in stone the exact route. Like I say, the Duster is up next !!! Less slow is the goal LOL

LOL.... you gonna swat the bee hive then run?? That would cost a little money and you know I spend my money at restaurants , not go fast parts..
If you spend TOO much money at restaurants, not only do you not make your car faster, you can actually make it slower! If you catch my drift… lol

I just have to say, as fun as it is to get the Duster back out, it has been miserably hot. That is a hinderance to some extent. Both to my comfort and health. LOL.

I can relate 100%! Normally it’s high 90’s and matching humidity. I can only work so long in my metal shop with all the fans on high. All this rain we’ve had over the last few days has cooled things off, but it’s too much in too short a time and coming at a tragic cost.

Yes, some very sad and unfortunate situations down there. Tragic. Those girls at that camp was just devastating.
