yes.. brand new for 69 bucksHave you got a battery...
Left one thing out, the 904 installed has the low 1st gearEverything is hooked up now. Just got to add fluid. I hope to add fluid tomorrow, check for leaks, and go for a spin.
My Question: What do YOU think the improvement will be with the following changes over the 12.8's 1/4 mile time?
Quick Engine Facts:
- 3.23's to 3.91's
- stock converter to 9.5" converter Stall TBD (should actually flash stall with my motor about 2700)
- stock 904 to 904 with upgrades including RMVB. This swap was more in the line of durability other than ET improvement
- The cam is .427 lift and 204 @050 on the intake. Cam is very small, and I realize it doesn't compliment the heads at all.
- OOTB speedmaster heads (black friday special!).
- Pistons are the dished factory style.
- eddy rpm (not air gap) w/750 brawler

Traction limited I'm sure, it has to be.Nice !!! Test drive went well !!!

Going to take some getting used to, manual shifting on the column (RMVB).
That changes things. I’ll add another 1/10 to my original guess. Still no mph change in my opinion.Left one thing out, the 904 installed has the low 1st gear
Yes, I can burn the tires now. BUT, very easy to control it on the street and keep it very minimal. I believe on the track spinning will not be an issue. Launches harder for sure!Traction limited I'm sure, it has to be.
With the converter and the lower 1st gear, I'm looking to shift to 2nd gear in what seems like an instant. I found I have to leave the line with the shifter handle already pulled in so I can just drop to 2nd. 2nd to 3rd is a sinchOnce you get used to it you will love it!

I would be thrilled with a 12.4.At that MPH I think you will hit a 12.4
Good luck!
changing my call 12.5@107 you are not going to be out of rpmOh, by the way! The FTI converter is wonderful. Drives great and performs as advertised
I'd take a 12.5 ..... Less Slow is the Goal !!!changing my call 12.5@107 you are not going to be out of rpm
still think the 1/8 mph et mph will show faster then the 1/4
Absolutely !Getting sideways on that launch. Traction bars still on there?

I thought of this very idea.If you've got a spare steering column laying around, take it apart and see if you can modify the detents on the shifter plate. I friend of mine did that years ago on a column in a 67 Belvedere after he went to a RMVB. He'd just have to put it in D for 1st gear, then slap it down one notch for 2nd, then pull it towards him to go to 3rd. It worked slicker'n cat poop on linoleum....lol. I wish I could tell you how he did it, but it was 1989 and I've slept since then. Maybe he just flipped the detent plate over? I'm confident you can figure it out if you look at the plate inside the column.

13th forecast is 93* and 24% rain throughout the day, making it hot and humid. Very unusual for this time of year for us. Been dry and barely hitting 70*, but of course, when I want to race ...... u know lol.Sept 13th looks like will be a target-date to make some passes....
Backup date to that will be the 20th...
Awe come on we need numbers. There are guys in Florida rolling their eyes at you right now.won't go in the heat and humidity
