Guys.........

In my Dart Sport 360, I have a stock black carpeting with very little actual insulation......just some thin fibrous mat, and spotty at best....not form fit like the carpet.

I get a LOT of road noise, and the exhaust is LOUD in the cabin.

If I purchase some good Dynamat (or whatever the stuff is called exactly) and form fit it on the whole floor and up the trunk divider, then reinstall my carpet, how much actual difference can I expect in the cabin as far as NOISE ??

I used a similar product called Hush Mat under my carpet and it made a world of difference. I covered everything from the rear glass to the firewall including the roof and under the door panels. Also cuts down on the heat radiating up from the exhaust.

Here is the better stuff.

Yes it is worth the effort.

Be sure to remove the rear seat and do under that.

Well, after checking out that article, I think I'll be running with the RAAM Audio stuff. It appears to be the best bang for the buck.

I think I am also going to use their Ensolite padding instead of jute when I do the carpeting.
