dynamic effective compression ratio?

My effective compression ratio comes out to 7.8, Do you guys think this will be OK with 93 octane? Its a La open chamber head (no quench). What can these engines get away with on 93?

I was getting worried from what I was reading. My mechanical is 9.6 to 1 but i guess the cam bleeds off enough cylinder pressure. hopefully it will let me get away with retarding the timing less, when Im spraying it.

When you get to 8.4 dynamic, then you start getting close to that zone of ping with open chambers.

Tune is everything though...
