Just looking into all the changes I have to go thru from a mild motor to 400 to 750 hp.

I'll jump on your bandwagon here and also ash if I had a ET of the 11.7 and just switched over to E85 would I expect a better ET?

if it is properly jetted you should pick up a good tenth.....picked up several hundred in the 60th foot...

need to make sure you fuel system can supply about 30% more fuel in volume then for gasoline.

all 3 of our bracket cars run on the corn syrup....the price per gallon is what i like..

When I switched to e85 I upgraded the fuel line to 1/2" from cell to carb, replaced fuel filter with one that was compatible with e85...and reworked the carb of course. I don't remember the exact numbers (you could probably search my user name and e85 to find it), but if I recall correctly my car picked up close to 2 tenths (getting old, don't remember).

The fuel cost savings and the cooling effect were the main reasons I made the switch. The extra power was a bonus.

If you look for a new carb, I have one for sale that's already converted and has less than 500 miles on it. I am going EFI

My friends want me to get a 10 an line and a 400 gph pump.I told them I use to bust their *** on 6an on alky.I would think 250 or 300 would be enough for 620 hp and a 150 shot

We use a -8 line up to the regulator and the -6 into the carb....the carb is a quick fuel tech 950 E85. Due to our elevation and lousy DA we run the jets two below stock..

the fuel pump is a 50 dollar ebay 140 gph pump....

need to get rid of any paper style fuel filter element.
