[WANTED] Early A body accelerator pedal hinge

Hiya!

I'm reviving my 1966 Barracuda, and sometime during its previous life, the floor pans have been replaced, and the metal hinge for the accelerator pedal is now MIA. I've got a pedal and such, but I am in need of the hinge that mounts to the floor and hopefully the pin that goes through the pedal...

I “think” the slant and V8 pedals used the same hinge. If so, I have a slant pedal with the hinge and pin

The slant 6 pedal is easily modified for use with the V8 linkage, too.

Yes Sir here is mine except it has the hinge and pin. Yours looks to be one for a V8 minus the plastic top piece; mine’s from a slant

Gotta find or fab me a hinge lol. Right now I'm using the spoon as the accelerator pedal

The hinge is not easy to find, it lives in a hostile environment and is almost always rusted and seized, except on cars that have been well maintained. I know they repop the pedal to the tune of $200, but it does not come with the hinge. Try our member “Rick@Laysons” that may be your best bet.

Yeah, I think I'll just make one Haha. I don't think that a small piece of sheet metal is worth an order to Laysons.
