Early A K-Members?

Hey all! Are all the early A body k-members the same whether it be a /6 or a small block?? 63-66

If so, a k-member from a 64 Dart 170 should fit into a 66 Valiant with 273??

The only difference is the early ones are not drilled for the factory sway bar.

Either use a set of OEM V8 brackets with new rubber (or poly) mounts or buy a set of Schmaker's (sp?) conversion mounts. They offer 2 flavors: 273/318 or 340/360 style.

You can watch Ebay and get a used set for about 50 dollars.

I used a set truck motor mounts and shims , 5/8 on the passenger side and 1/8 on the driver side .

only because I had a 340. When I had a 318 in it I used 273 stuff.

Originally my car was a \6.

Moparlee that engine pic is sweet .......... I have alot of work to do .
I also have a 340 with a 4 speed and thought that solid mounts would be better so I wouldn't have the rubber blow out and cause damage . 6000 rpm + burnouts at 40' long might do that . I had a pile of mounts and thought I'd use them, and share the info for other people . )
