Hey guys,

Trying to confirm what timing cover I found. I'm thinking it's an early A cast iron unit. Part # shows 1676241. Are they worth anything?

The telltale is this little boss/bolt hole here:

That earmarks it as a poly or very early LA273. Later LAs did not have or use that hole, but it doesn't mean it can't be used on a later LA.
Like JYH said, if it's cast iron it's definitely poly.
No reason it can't still be used on a '69 and earlier engine with a P.S. timing scale- and since it's cast iron it probably survived in better condition than most of the old aluminum ones.
If it was sitting on my shelf, I'd use it.
