Looks like our earth day is April 22 09 this year and it is on a Wednesday.
Smart move on Canada to organize it on a week end that sounds like a good time around a fire and enjoying a few with your friend's or neighbors

Ya, I used to do a little partying here on earth day. I dont really party anymore but I suppose I can still do something to support the non destruction of our planet.

Does not a campfire have a larger carbon footprint than the coal required to burning a few bulbs and watch TV? :toothy10:

I care more than you, I used a green smily!

    Oh, earth day.

This whole "Shut off the lights for a few hours" bit is really quite silly. At best, it's postponement if executed flawlessly. Mostly, it's pointless.
